KUALA LUMPUR: The COVID-19 outbreak has transformed the ways businesses operate. The companies are coming up with the right digital solutions to give their customers what they need. In the automotive industry, several auto giants have launched their e-showrooms, which let their customers purchase new cars with their home comfort. The French carmaker, Peugeot is the latest to join this list.

Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for the Peugeot cars in Malaysia, has announced the launch of Peugeot e-Showroom on its official website. With this, the automaker aims to extend the unbounded convenience for customers, so they can browse and buy the award-winning Peugeot models like Peugeot 3008 SUV Plus and Peugeot 5008 SUV Plus.

“As we reopen our doors for business, we also place the highest priority on the safety of our customers and employees. In accordance with this new principle and to concurrently offer a worry-free environment for our customers, we have launched an online showroom, the Peugeot e-Showroom on our website, for the ultimate convenience and peace of mind for all,” said Dato’ Nik Hamdam Nik Hassan, Group CEO, Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings.

The Peugeot e-Showroom is added as a permanent feature on the brand’s website. To book a Peugeot via e-Showroom, a customer has to follow the four simple steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Choose the vehicle of your choice.

Step 2: Fill in your details in the booking form.

Step 3: Submit your details.

Step 4: Wait to be contacted by a Peugeot sales advisor.

The automaker is also offering a value-added service to its customers, i.e., a complimentary Home Test Drive, in case the customers request for that.

All along with the online showroom, Peugeot physical showrooms and service centres are also there for customers’ assistance. For their safety, a strict daily sanitization process has been implemented in all the premises. Moreover, all test drive cars and sales and service consultant materials are also being sanitized after every session.

With the current sales tax exemption in place, the interested Peugeot buyers can save up to RM 19,000. On top of this, customers will get a 5 years warranty and 3 years of free service (including parts and labour) on the purchase of the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 SUV Plus,
