Nissan X-Trail IMPUL Tuned Launched, Price starts from RM150K

Nissan X-Trail IMPUL edition has been launched by the Edaran Tan Chong Motor(ETCM) in Malaysia and the price starts from RM150K. This IMPUL edition flaunts sportier looks while the engine specifications remain same.

This new sporty variant of X-trail receives all-new designed bumper, spoilers and side skirts at both ends. The SUV progresses on a newly designed 18” IMPUL Aura SX-50 alloy wheels finished with a chrome bronze and gloss black, fitted with Continental Max Contact 5 well-grippy tyres. Along with it, an additional door visor and LED stainless steel kick plate is equipped as well. The IMPUL makeover provides sportier and aggressive aesthetics which help to exhibit a respectable road presence. Its height has also been lowered by 30mm which gives it a more quick and responsive driving experience, thanks to IMPUL Suspension units.

As we have mentioned above there are no mechanical changes in the SUV. The Nissan X-Trail 2.0 2WD gets powered by the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates maximum power of 142.03hp at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 4,400 rpm. While the elder sibling Nissan X-Trail 2.5 4WD, powered by 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol motor churns out peak power of 174.5hp at 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 233 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Both the engines are paired to Nissan’s X-tronic CVT.

The X-Trail has a strong following in Malaysia, and we believe that adding the IMPUL touch to the Nissan X-Trail not only heightens its appearance and driving dynamics, but this new look will also appeal to those wanting a sporty edge to their vehicle.”

Earlier in November 2015,  Nissan NP300 was launched in Malaysia, priced at RM79,000. The company is looking forward to expand its market with the SUV's and Pick-ups.

The Nissan X-Trail 2.0 is priced at RM149,715.05 and the 2.5 liter 4WD variant is available at RM172,516.42 (Both prices are on-the-road with insurance).
