Nissan Leaf10 celebrates the EVs ten year anniversary

KUALA LUMPUR: Nissan launched the Leaf10 special edition to celebrate the EVs ten year anniversary in the auto industry. The all-electric Leaf10 hatch benefits from unique styling and additional standard features.

Helen Perry, chief marketing manager of electric passenger cars and infrastructure at Nissan Europe said, “Since Leaf launched in 2010, Nissan has continued to evolve its EV technology, connected services and design to ensure it delivers on the demands and lifestyles of our owners."

Perry further added, “Our iconic model has attracted over 180,000 motorists across Europe. We hope that with its enhanced styling features and latest technologies such as in-car Wi-Fi and its remote functions including lock and unlock capabilities to receive packages; Leaf can continue to excite those who are just starting their EV journey.”

Nissan Leaf10 standard feature list includes -

• 17-inch wheels
• Nissan Blind Spot Intervention & Intelligent Rear View Mirror systems
• Built-in 4G connectivity with seven device hosting capacity via Nissan Connect mobile app

On the design front, the special edition Leaf10 features the Ariya inspired intricate Kumiko pattern which can be seen on the tailgate, mirrors, and roofline. The C-pillar sports a model badge that makes the special edition Leaf even more identifiable. The new two-tone Pearl Black and Ceramic Grey tone adds to the Leaf 10s appeal.

We aren't sure about the Leaf's special edition engine details, however, it is expected to get the same standard Nissan Leaf battery configurations - 40 kWh and 62 kWh. The former batter is paired to a front electric motor pumping 150 PS and 320 Nm, the latter makes 217 PS and 340 Nm.
