Land Rover Defender gets Yacht-like treatment
KUALA LUMPUR: Carlex Design is a Polish aftermarket company that is known to elevate the already high-end, fantastic looking cars. Its lastest work was seen on the Mercedes-AMG G63, wherein the vehicle flaunted yachting design elements. And we must say, the G63 sure looked no less than artwork with its all-wood cabin giving it a luxe appeal.
Now, Carlex Design has tried its hands on the Land Rover Defender. The treated SUV features a fantastic colour scheme and carries yacht design elements.
The Yachting Edition of the SUV is based on the 5-door Land Rover Defender 110. And Carlex Design revealed it on its Facebook page saying that it is a "perfect combination of off-road performance, reliability, and luxury marine style."
As mentioned above, the Defender Yachting Edition is offered in a single color scheme; the same brushed silver finish found in the AMG G63.
The most significant updates are seen on the inside. The Carlex Design Defender comes in two upholstery choices. One is white upholstery (similar to the Merc SUV) with wood accents. The entire cabin is full of wooden materials giving the car the whole yacht-like vide. The second colour-tone is quite outlandish - gold upholstery with brushed silver trims.
The Defender Yachting Edition price is yet to be disclosed, however from the looks of it, this one will surely cost a fortune. If you are interested in that kind of spending power than we'd say contact Carles Design.
