    Jaguar I-Pace variants & price

The Jaguar I-Pace EV is offered in two variants - Black LE and HSE, priced at RM 460,800 and RM 498,800, respectively. It is duty-free in accordance with the local government initiatives to promote EV adoption and achieve low-carbon mobility.

Each purchase will also be accompanied by a comprehensive warranty coverage period of 5 years/150,000 km (whichever comes earlier), 3-year roadside assistance, 5-year/102,000 km complimentary servicing, and an 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty.

Jaguar I-Pace powertrain, range, and charging

The I-Pace comes equipped with two Jaguar-designed electric motors (one at each axle), generating a combined output of 400 PS and a peak torque of 696 Nm. Being a performance EV, the I-Pace incorporates aluminium construction and a low centre of gravity, offering an unrivalled balance of all-wheel drive performance, refinement, luxury, and agility to the users, explains the automaker. It accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in 4.8 seconds and completes the 400m sprint in 12.4 seconds. The top speed is rated at 200 kmph.

The motors are paired with a 90-kWh battery that lets the EV cruise for 470 km on a single charge, according to Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). As for juice-up, the 11kW wall box charger offers 53 km of WLTP range per hour. However, the full charge takes 8.6 hours, which is ideal for overnight charging at home.

The EV comes with charging cable locks that are quite useful when charging in public places. This locks the cable into place as soon as the car is locked, which cannot be disconnected until the vehicle is unlocked.
