Introducing The BMW X1 Facelift Version

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW 1 facelift has been launched to replace the older version of this segment, with more stunning looks than the previous one. For now, only one variant of this series has been launched, which has a lot of cosmetic changes from front to rear.

A new transformed kidney grille makes its nose more aggressive, full – LED lean headlamps contains standard BMW's angel eye (halo lamps). The front bumper has been fully modified with larger intake and integrated foglamps, rear side of the car has L-shaped rear lamps, with double-L LED tubes. New stylish 18-inch alloys with 225/40 front and 245/35 rear tires, M sport suspension and a new body kit, gives the feeling of cherry on a cake.

Its interior is equipped with 8.8-inch Navigation system with BMW's iDrive system, which also offers MP3, DVD, Bluetooth, USB and AUX, and for the quality sound, it also has seven speakers. There is M leather steering wheel and red highlights instrument panel, an Alcantara-uphostered sport seats, M-badged door sills, high quality interior with aluminium interior trim and matte blue accent. For wonderful driving experience, there are different driving modes which are Comfort, Sport, Eco modes.

This is an M sport model, which contains 1.6L four cylinder turbo engine with direct injected system, which emits output of 177 HP at 4,800-6,450 RPM and 250 NM of torque in between 1,500-4,500 RPM, it is a rear wheel drive car with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. From none to 100 kmph, it takes only 7.2 seconds, and able to hit the top speed of 222km/hr, due to start/stop system, it claimed mileage of 16 kmpl.

A few more things are also added like, automatic dual-zone air-con, keyless entry and start-stop button, auto light and wipers, also with Cruise control, front and rear parking sensors. For safety, it contains six Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking system, Automatic Stability Control, Cornering Brake control and Dynamic Traction Control.

This five-door hatchback is available in Alpine White, Black sapphire, Glacier Silver, Mineral Grey and Estoril Blue body colors. It costs RM219,800, OTR with GST and without insurance. Assembled in (CKD) in Kulim, Kedah, this facelift model has arrived with a bang.
