Honda is offering the new Civic in a single variant option in Singapore, i.e1.5 Turbo. Priced at SGD 122,999 (approx RM 383,851), the car is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo engine making a maximum power of 129 PS from 5,500-6,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 180 Nm at 1,700-4,500 rpm. This power configuration helps Civic quality for Category A COE, the cheapest among the five Vehicle Quota Systems in Singapore.
The drive is sent to the front wheels via a CVT unit. Also, enhancing the driving fun is the paddle-shift system that provides a spread of ratios to accelerate off-the-line acceleration. Furthermore, it comes with three drive modes that help the driver drive according to his/her mood. On offer are - Normal mode for relaxed driving, Sport mode for heightened enjoyment, and ECON mode for a fuel-efficient drive.
Talking about its exterior design, the new Civic offers a streamlined sporty look that includes elements like - halogen projector lights with LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, fin antenna, smart keyless entry door handles, electrically retractable OVRMs with LED turn indicators and more.
Exterior colour options include seven hues - Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Morning Mist Blue Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Ignite Red Metallic, and Crystal Black Metallic.
On the inside, there is no shortage of comfort and luxury. Styling true to the model’s legacy the new Civic cabin is a cocoon of convenience. Its feature kit includes leather upholstery, multi-functional steering wheel, wireless charger, automatic AC with rear wings.
The connectivity front is taken care of by a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support.
As expected, the 11th gen Civic benefits from the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features. It includes a lead car departure notification system, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane keep warning and assist, collision mitigation braking system with forward collision warning, and road departure mitigation system.
