Football icon David Beckham is Maserati’s new brand ambassador

KUALA LUMPUR: Maserati has recently started its all-new era with the unveiling of a fully modernized site in Modena, along with a new ‘Folgore’ strategy that calls for the electrification of the whole lineup. Considering uniqueness, passion, and innovation as the guiding principles, the Italian luxury automaker has now turned towards the global stage where it has a new global ambassador to represent it. An athlete/celebrity, philanthropist, businessman, or we can say a true legend in the world of soccer, David Beckham, is Maserati’s new brand ambassador.

According to Maserati, “David Beckham is the perfect partner to accompany Maserati on the next leg of its journey, breaking boundaries and driving the brand forward to the forefront of luxury motoring in the 21st century.”

In the brand’s first act with Beckam, you can see the legend performing an audacious act of driving in a Maserati SUV, just for the sheer joy of doing the unexpected. The SUV is one of the Maserati Trofeo trios - the Levante Trofeo performance SUV and the video is directed by Harmony Korine. 

While commenting on his new association, David Beckham said: “It’s an exciting time for me to begin this partnership with Maserati; an iconic Italian brand which shares my appreciation for the very best innovation and design. I’m looking forward to working closely with the brand at such a pivotal time in their history and continuing their growth on a global scale.”
