Check out the 2020 Land Rover Defender with no disguise

KUALA LUMPUR: For months now we have been seeing images of the 2020 Land Rover Defender though always with full camouflage. However, it seems like an avid fan of the vehicle was able to click the 2020 Defender in all its glory. The all-new Defender is said to make an official debut in September, but getting a quick sneak-peek is always great.

The image you see above was posted on an Instagram account under the name ‘shedlocktwothousand’ and is said to be clicked at the set of the new James Bond movie. The new Defender appears to feature a retro-modern look under that camo livery we have been seeing for a while now. The car keeps the same old boxy design, along with the flat hood and squared wheel arches. The new Defender, however, displays rounder and smoother curves than before.

The new Defender seems to benefit from a fresh face upfront and a more rakish windshield. The front face also gets a unified grille design, and the headlights are placed in a rectangular housing with LED daytime running lights.

Do you remember the Lego model of the 2020 Defender that was accidentally revealed sometime back in June? Well, it seems to be inspired by the real thing, after all.

For those asking when will the 2020 Lander Rover Defender be here in Malaysia? Well, until now we have no official information, but the car is expected to arrive in the neighbouring countries somewhere in Feb and March of 2020, so it’ll be only after that Malaysia will get to see the beauty in flesh.

The production of the 2020 Land Rover Defender will commence in January at the company’s new state-of-the-art plant in Nitra, Slovakia. Under the hood, 2.0-litre turbo diesel and hybrid option are expected to follow.
