Catch the action of Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival Round 3 grand finale this weekend

KUALA LUMPUR: Gear up for the final round of the GR Vios Challenge racing series and Toyota GAZOO Racing Festival Season 6 at the Sepang International Circuit. The event will be held from September 30th to October 1st, 2023, to celebrate the shared passion and love for racing and cars.

You can attend an exciting lineup of entertainment and events during the event. The festival promises a weekend full of spectacular concert performances and gives you a chance to groove to the beats of renowned bands and artists. You can also get closer to the GTR celebrities and get their autographs with meet-and-greet sessions. Shopaholics and foodies are in for a treat as Tempatan Fest gives them a chance to buy vintage accessories and try local cuisines.

"The finale has been curated as a special thank you and to celebrate all our fans who have been instrumental in the continued success of the Toyota GAZOO Racing Festival," said UMW Toyota  Motor President Datuk Ravindran K. 

"In 6 seasons of racing, a total of more than 18 million spectators (on the ground) and online viewers  have tuned into the Toyota GAZOO Racing Festival and GR Vios Challenge racing series, firmly  establishing it as the premier one-make saloon car racing series in Malaysia." 

At the upcoming event, the racing community will also witness the debut of the all-new fourth-generation Toyota Vios. With a powerful 1.5-litre engine, upgraded aerodynamics, and improved stability, this Vios promises quicker lap times. The finale event will see a showdown with forty-five drivers who will compete for the Season 6 championship titles. 

Mitchell Cheah is leading with 59 points in the Super Sporting Class, and Nabil Azlan is ahead by just 5 points at 68 in the Sporting Class. In the Rookie Class, Elson Lew and Iman Danish are giving neck-to-neck competition to each other, with Danish leading by 7 points to Lew's 52. Zizan Razak seems to be a clear winner of the Promotional Class with 70 points.
