BMW X4 official price out now; will cost buyer RM 364,800

KUALA LUMPUR: The official price tag of G02 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport is finally out now, and it reads a hefty sum of RM 364,800. The X4, a.k.a., locally-assembled Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) was first unveiled in May, and back then its price was estimated at around RM 380,000. Included in the actual price tag are the BMW Tyre Warranty programme, a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, and free scheduled service programme.

Giving you a bit of a heads-up about the G02 BMW X4, it is available in single trim option called xDrive30i M Sport. This variant is powered by a B48 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that develops a maximum power of 252 hp from 5,200 to 6,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 350 Nm at 1,450 to 4,800 rpm. As you can judge by the name of the car, the power is sent to all the four wheels via an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission unit.

On the performance front, the G02 BMW X4 specs sheet says that it can cover 0 to 100 kmph mark in 6.3 seconds, and it has a top speed of 240 kmph. The average fuel economy rests at 12.82 kmpl. Being an M Sport model, the X4 features performance gears like an electronic differential lock, adaptive suspension, performance control, variable sport steering, hill descent control, and hill-start assist.

In terms of its design and feature kit, the car gets M Sport front bumper with horizontal LED fog lamps, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, M Aerodynamics package, body-colored claddings, twin tailpipes, and 20-inch Double-spoke style 699 M wheels. Also, the brake calipers are splashed in blue and showcases’ designation.

The car is available in four color options - Phytonic Blue, Alpine White, Flamenco Red, and Carbon Black.
