KUALA LUMPUR: It was recently that BMW Malaysia launched the all-new iX electric SUV in the country. And now after five days of opening the ordering books the company says that it has received 64 pre-bookings. What's interesting is that the figure coincides with Malaysia's 64th Independence year.
“We are pleased to see Malaysians take a bold step in choosing sustainable mobility as part of their lifestyle, which underlines our belief that the future is in fact electric. We have long committed to shape the future of mobility in the country, and we will confidently continue to cultivate the shift towards electromobility further by accelerating the availability of charging infrastructures in Malaysia and rapidly expanding the BMW i dealer network in key cities nationwide,” said BMW Group Malaysia's Managing Director, Hans de Visser.
