BMW Marks its 100-year Anniversary by flashing BMW Vision Next 100 Concept
Kuala Lumpur: BMW celebrated its 100th anniversary recently and to make it extra special, the 'Big German 3' brand staged a unique concept – BMW Vision Next 100. The revolutionary concept is a 4-seater electric drive, which comes with driver-driven or autonomous driving options. Indeed, a great piece of art and technology it is! Though the BMW Vision Next 100 is just a concept and can't be practically converted into a production model to run on roads, it has all those features and advanced technology, which make the manufacturer proud. BMW is enjoying the appreciation it is receiving for its concepts these days. Recently, BMW showed 'Vision Car' concept at the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas.
This wild new BMW concept is designed with flexible skin sections at its exterior, which make the gorgeous moves of the car visible. One very attractive feature of this concept is that there are numerous triangles on its body shift, which flash the warning and informative messages while driving. The interesting styling of this new BMW concept is a result of 4D printing which has given a radical look to this sports car. The big German brand has played it pretty intelligently in giving it a compact structure which measures 4902 mm in length and 1372 mm in height. All the 4 winged doors of this concept can be opened with proximity sensor while the 'Alive Geometry' helps in displaying the message presenting feature. A full windshield head-up screen is also incorporated in this car, which flashes those messages which triangles can't, so it's just about holding the steering or may be not and enjoy the safest drive.
The revolutionary cabin area of the new BMW Concept is designed to give a boost to the driving experience. Different driving modes are offered in this concept through which you can change the steering point, speed and ideal driving line. Also, these modes can transform the interior and make it more comfortable. With its debut in Munich, the futuristic concept BMW Vision Next 100 is moving next to USA, China and UK to showcase the impeccable imagination and engineering of what a 100 years old auto brand can do. The century-old brand recently launched BMW 7-series in Malaysia and is receiving a good response. Packed with 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre in different trims, the drive can be owned at a starting price of RM 599,000.
