BMW Malaysia first introduced the 2022 i4 eDrive40 M in January and now its ordering books are open for eagerly waiting customers. Joining the automaker’s fully-electric i lineup that already includes the iX and iX3, there’s something special about the 2022 i4 eDrive40 M Sport. 2022 i4 eDrive40 M Sport booking and price details

Priced at RM 389,800 (on-the-road excluding insurance, together with Extended Warranty & Service Package), the fully-electric Gran Coupe can be booked via BMW Malaysia's official website.

The i4 gets a vertically aligned kidney grille that consoles state-of-the-art sensors with its striking patterned structure. These sensors are very crucial as they supply real-the-data to the vehicle.

An extension of the classic BMW Coupe, the i4’s silhouette is aerodynamically optimised for better driving dynamics. Its long wheelbase, flowing roofline, and short overhangs define its sporty yet elegant characteristics.

The five-door fully-electric Gran Coupe is equipped with the 5th gen BMW eDrive technology that delivers power-packed performance figures. The 250kW synchronous e-motor delivers 340 hp and 430 Nm of torque.

The car, thanks to several factors like an efficient drivetrain concept, aerodynamic design, lightweight construction, and a high-voltage battery, is able to attain a range of up to 590 km and a 0-100 kmph time of 5.7 seconds. Further, with innovative techs like brake energy recovery, the range can be further extended and the energy consumption reduced to 20-16 kWh per 100 km.

Easy changing on the go & at home

Charging an EV couldn’t be easier than this, all thanks to the Connected Charging service that helps the driver find the nearest charging station along the route. The battery level goes from 10 to 80 percent in just 31 minutes with up to 200 kW of charging power. With less time, you can recharge up to 164 km range in only 10 minutes.

At home with the convenience of the BMW Wallbox, with up to 11 kW the EV’s battery recharges fully in just 8 hours 15 minutes.

Further adding to the i4 charging convenience, each purchase includes a BMW Flexible Fast Charger (for home), BMW Charging Card (for accessing public charging network), and charging cable (for public charging).

BMW IconicSounds Electric orchestrates the car’s drive sound both inside and out. Each drive mode comes with its respective sound that perfectly matches the vibe. For instance, in the SPORT mode you’ll get a powerful dynamic with clear power-load feedback, in Comfort mode it's balanced acoustics and slight load feedback, and in Eco Pro mode we get high acoustic comfort without additional sound staging.
