Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition revealed, limited to just 70 units
KUALA LUMPUR: The luxury carmaker Bentley aims to make luxury mobility even more opulent and sustainable than it has ever been. Following this ethos, the company introduced the Flying Spur Odyssean Edition last year, which is now followed by the all-new Bentayga Odyssean Edition. This is a hybrid SUV featuring a blend of luxury craftsmanship and eco-friendly practices with little impact on the environment.

- The exterior design boasts Pale Brodgar (light bronze) accents on the lower bumpers, the bezels around the lamps, and the radiator grilles
- The car is kitted with exclusively-designed 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels
- Odyssean Edition badge on the D-pillars, which clearly marks the vehicle’s identity
- Offered in 7 standard colour tones, including two natural shades recommended by the automaker viz. Onyx and Glacier White
- Exclusive badging can also be found on the illuminated tread plates inside the cabin
- The cabin is kitted with several sustainable materials, including open-pore Koa veneer on the centre console (using 90% less lacquer than high-gloss veneers), tweed panels on the headrests and the seat backs (made from British wool), sustainably sourced leather upholstery with natural and sustainable hides and sublime Piano Linen veneer on the dash and door cards
Under the bonnet of the Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition lies a 3.0-litre V6 petrol-electric drivetrain which generates a maximum power output of 456 bhp and a peak torque of 700 Nm. Also part of the drivetrain setup is an 18-kWh battery pack that offers an all-electric range of 45 km. Performance-wise, the hybrid Bentley can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in 5.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 254 kmph.
Limited to just 70 units, the eco-friendly SUV will enter into production at the start of 2023. It will be available for the standard-wheelbase Bentayga and not for the extended-wheelbase version. Pricing for the Bentayga Odyssean Edition is yet to be announced by the automaker.
