Audi Malaysia opens booking for Q8 e-tron & Q8 Sportback e-tron

KUALA LUMPUR: Audi Malaysia has big plans for 2023 via the expansion of the model line-up. The automaker has opened its ordering books for the fully-electric Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron along with the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. While the latter is already discussed in length here, our focus is now on the Q8 e-tron range.

Earlier the brand’s flagship EV SUV was simply called the e-tron, however, with the expansion of Audi’s all-electric range, the car was renamed Q8 e-tron in Nov 2022.

Price & variants

Both the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron will be offered in two variant options called the advance 50 and S Line 55. There est. price will range from RM 369,000 to RM 476,000.

Powertrain

The advanced 50 variants of both the Q8 e-tron & Q8 Sportback e-tron will be powered by an all-wheel drive dual-motor setup generating a max power of 340 hp and a peak torque of 664 Nm. The trim also gets a 95-kWh battery pack offering a pure electric range of 410 km.

The S Line 55 trim of the Q8 e-tron & Q8 Sportback e-tron, on the other hand, features a more powerful setup with a 408 hp and 664 Nm making AWD dual-motor. It also features a larger 114 kWh battery providing an all-electric range of 481 km.

Charging

As for the advance 55 variants of the Q8 e-tron & Q8 Sportback e-tron following charging setup is available -

Features

Though the automaker has not revealed much information about the EV, the range-topping versions of the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron will pack several high-end features including -

• Virtual exterior mirrors
• Panoramic glass sunroof
• Bang & Olufsen premium sound system
