- The new Harrier PHEV like the hybrid trim is powered by a 2.5-litre Dynamic Force engine that makes a maximum power of 177 PS along with a peak torque of 219 Nm. Two e-motors (one at the front & rear each) are also part of the setup and make 182 PS/270 Nm and 54PS/121 Nm respectively. The combined power output stands at 306 PS
- It is built on the TNGA-K platform that is also shared by the RAV4 Prime and Lexus NX 450+ which also is powered by the same powertrain
- The model gets an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery that allows the EV delivers a range of 93 km
- A 200-volt outlet allows the EV to get charged in 5 hrs 30 mins, while a 100-volt battery takes 33 hours to charge the car
- The key attraction of the new Harrier PHEV include rear heated seats, a panoramic view monitor with an underfloor transparent display, and an external power supply system with a max of 1500 watt

2022 Toyota Harrier PHEV in Malaysia
The Toyota Malaysia lineup currently includes the Harrier crossover in one single variant, 2.0 Luxury. Powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre petrol engine making a maximum power of 173 PS at 6,600 rpm along with a peak torque of 203 Nm from 4,400 to 4,900 rpm. As for the arrival of the new Harrier PHEV, there is a good chance of the car’s arrival in the country.
