A new luxury SUV arrives in Malaysia; the Bentley Bentayga Azure EWB

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Bentley cars in Malaysia, Bentley Kuala Lumpur has added a new model to its lineup. Called the Bentayga Azure EWB (Extended Wheelbase) it is essentially a longer version of the Bentayga.

Price

The extended wheelbase version of the luxury SUV is priced at a whopping RM 1,091,000 (excluding duties, taxes, registration, and options).

Dimensions

Being the Extended Wheelbase version, the Bentayga Azure EWB measures 5,322 mm in length with the wheelbase going up to 3,175 mm. Compared to the standard model, the model’s wheelbase and cabin space has been extended by 180 mm. The enhanced length mainly reflects on the rear door, offering a larger second row.

Powertrain

Powering the Bentayga Azure EWB is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 mill making a maximum power output of maximum 550 hp along with a peak torque of 770 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission by ZF.

Performance

The above configuration allows the SUV to complete the century sprint in just 4.6 seconds. The model comes equipped with all-wheel steering which offers ease of maneuvering at low speeds and confidence at high speeds.

Comfort & Convenience

Being an Extended Wheelbase version, the model offers a lot of comfort and convenience to the passengers at the back. The most highlighting bits on the inside include -

• New auto climate sensing system (apply heat, vibration, or both as per occupants temp & humidity)

• Seats recline to 40 degrees in Relax Mode
• Seats move in a most upright position in Business Mode

The car comes equipped with Bentley’s Touring specification of advanced driver assistance technologies. Part of the kit is
