300-unit limited Audi RS3 Performance Edition makes its debut

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only a few days back that Audi Malaysia opened bookings for the 2023 Audi RS3 Sedan and now we hear about the global debut of the RS3 Performance Edition.

Limited to just 300 units, the special edition RS3 is priced at €87,000 (approx. RM 403,946), the car is expected to reach customers early next year.

2023 Audi RS3 Performance Edition: Key details

Engine: Powering the special edition RS3 Performance is the award-winning turbocharged inline-five engine generating maximum power of 407 PS between 5,700 - 7,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 500 Nm between 2,250 - 5,700 rpm.

Transmission: The drive is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.

Performance: The RS3 Performance Edition accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds. A top speed of 300 kmph is achieved via RS Plus Dynamic Package, thus making it the first vehicle in its segment to do so.

Exterior: The special edition RS3 showcases a wide range of new design elements and equipment including - motorsport-design wheels, an RS-sports exhaust system with black tailpipe, black Audi rings & RS3 badge, Matrix LED headlights, LED tail lights with dynamic flashing light, RS-specific staging while locking & unlocking, digital DRL with 15 LED segments. Also, part of the setup is checkered flag lights on both sides, and entrance LED in front doors projecting ‘#RS performance’ on the ground.

Interior: Like the exterior, the car’s cabin has a lot of special features including bucket seats, an Alcantara steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marking, and a 10.1-inch touch display. The car also gets displays for coolant temperature, transmission & engine oil, g-forces, and tyre pressure, and the Audi virtual cockpit. Making each car exclusive is a special ‘1 of 300’ badge mounted on the passenger side of the dash.

Colour options: The special edition Audi is offered in six striking tones including - Glacier White, Nogaro Blue, Sebring Black Crysta, Daytona Grey, Sebring Black, and Arrow Grey.
