2024 Mercedes-Benz GLA200 facelift now available in Malaysia - Updated looks, MBUX system - Yours for RM258,888

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia just rolled out the upgraded GLA 200, marking a fresh chapter for their compact SUV line-up. It's more than just a facelift; this compact SUV blends top-notch tech with day-to-day practicality. For those interested, the new GLA 200 is now up for grabs, priced at RM 258,888.

Amanda Zhang, CEO & President of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is super excited about it. "We are delighted to introduce the new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 to our valued customers," said Zhang.

This ride, assembled locally in Pahang, is all about fitting into the various lifestyles of their customers. Sporting a bold grille and a muscular look, it's got that sporty vibe down. Inside, it feels roomy and hits high on style too.

They've jazzed up the exterior with a new grille, a revamped front bumper, and a sportier rear look. The interior gets a techy upgrade with a 10.25-inch screen and comfy seats. Plus, it's packed with safety features like Blind Spot Assist and Active Brake Assist. And with the DYNAMIC SELECT, you can switch up your driving style on the fly.

The new GLA is all about convenience, too, with KEYLESS-GO and HANDS-FREE ACCESS for the tailgate. The new Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 also steps up its game with the latest MBUX system, making the ride more personalized and tech-savvy.

It's all about customization with options like Navigation, Assistance, and Services modes, not to mention the cool 64-color ambient lighting. You’ve still got all your usual features like media and phone controls, now easily accessible through the touchscreen or steering wheel controls. 

They've also revamped the telematics for better performance and style. Plus, staying connected is easier with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and you’ve got five fast-charging USB-C ports which are illuminated to keep all your devices juiced up.

The new GLA rocks a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine that works with a 7G-DCT auto transmission, making it quite the zippy ride according to MBM. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.9 seconds, all thanks to its power of 163 hp and a max torque of 250 Nm. This compact SUV seems to pack a punch under the hood, blending power with smooth handling.
