2023 Toyota Innova Zenix is coming soon to Malaysia; 21st June

KUALA LUMPUR: Wait for the all-new Toyota Innova Zenix is almost over as UMW Toyota Motor has spilled bans on the topic. Via a teaser, the automaker has revealed that the most advanced model of the seven-seater Toyota will arrive on Wednesday, 21st June 2023.

The 3rd gen Innova is also up for registration of interest on the UMWT website along with a countdown clock to the launch day.

Unlike the previous-gen model built on the IMV ladder-frame chassis, the all-new Innova Zenix utilises the TNGA-C unibody platform.

It was only recently that Toyota launched the new Innova Zenix in Indonesia wherein the MPV is offered in two powertrain options - a 174 PS/205 Nm 2.0-litre M20A-FKS petrol engine and a 152 PS/187 Nm 2.0-litre M20A-FXS hybrid petrol unit paired with an electric motor pumping 113 PS/206 Nm. In both powertrain options, the drive is sent to the front wheels via a CVT automatic gearbox.

The upcoming Innova Zenix, unlike the ongoing locally-assembled model, will be fully imported (CBU) from PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia’s (TMMIN) plant in Karawang.

Though Toyota Malaysia is yet to reveal the upcoming Innova Zenix’s price tag, it is believed to cross the RM 150,000 mark.
