2023 Range Rover Sport SV introduced; check out details

KUALA LUMPUR: British automaker Land Rover has unveiled its latest performance luxury SUV called the new Range Rover Sport SV. Tagged as the most powerful Range Rover ever, the car continues the legacy of the popular Range Rover Sport SVR, however in a more subtle manner.

Let us get to know the 2023 Range Rover Sport SV in detail -

Powertrain

Based on the ongoing Range Rover Sport, the all-new SV is powered by a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine which here churns out a maximum power of 635 PS along with a peak torque of 750 Nm.

Other essential drivetrain elements include -

• An eight-speed automatic transmission
• An all-wheel-drive system
• All-wheel steering
• Torque vectoring by braking
• An active locking rear differential
• Dynamic Launch Mode (boots torque to 800 Nm)

With a button on the steering wheel owners can activate the SV mode which in turn will optimize the transmission, steering, exhaust note, throttle response, and the 6D Dynamics suspension system.

Furthermore, the SV mode can lower the ride height by 15 mm, allowing the activation of the track-oriented TracDSC stability control programme.

Limited edition Range Rover SV Edition One

During the first year of production, Range Rover SV will be offered in the limited edition SV EDITION ONE specification. Sadly, all will not be able to get their hands on this one as the automaker is offering it to select clients invited via its invitation programme.
