2023 Lexus RX: Platform & Dimensions
The 5th gen RX rides on the GA-K platform that also underpins the latest EX, NX, and several Toyota models. Compared to the previous generation model, the new platform lets the 2023 RX shed almost 90 kg, resulting in a lower center of gravity (by 15 mm).
The weight reduction is made possible by the aluminum front fenders and 2 GPa class hot-stamped steel B-pillars.
On the dimensions side, the new RX measures 4,890 mm in length (same as before), 1,920 mm in width (more by 25 mm), and 1,695 mm in height ( less by 10 mm). The wheelbase, however, has grown by 60 mm, i.e2,850 mm. It also gets wider tracks, 15 mm front & 45 mm rear.

The new RX feature kit is - standard triple-zone climate control, hazard light, heated steering wheel, two USB ports, around-view monitor, memory seat, a trip computer, digital instrument cluster, and a panorama glass roof.

2023 Lexus RX: Safety
All variants of the new RX SUV benefit from the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. This suite of driver-assist features includes - a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control with curve speed management, intersection support with motorcycle detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, and an emergency driving stop system.
Lexus is offering the Advanced Park system as optional to expand the parallel parking support.
