2023 BMW iX M60 arrives in Malaysia, here’s all you need to know
KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed in January last year, BMW's high-performance electric SUV, the iX M60, has finally made its way to Malaysia. The new iX M60 is the fourth variant of the iX EV in the local market, after the xDrive40, xDrive40 Sport, and xDrive50 Sport.

2023 BMW iX M60 powertrain, range, and charging
The Malaysia-spec BMW iX M60 is powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain, which cranks out a maximum power of 619 PS and a peak torque of 1,015 Nm in Sport Mode. The latter can be further boosted to 1,100 Nm with the Launch Control feature. However, in Personal and Efficiency drive modes, it makes 540 PS and 1,015 Nm. In the most-output form, the EV runs from zero to 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds only and hits a top speed of 250 kmph.
Feeding the dual-motor setup is a 111.5 kWh battery pack, which lets the EV run for 561 km (WLTP) on a single charge. When it comes to juice-up time, the battery takes 5.5 hours with a 22-kW onboard AC charger and 35 minutes (for 0-80% SoC) with a 195-kW DC fast charging.

Dimensionally, the new BMW iX measures 4,953 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and 1,696 mm in height, and spans a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.
What sets the iX M60 trim different from its stablemates are High Gloss Black and Titanium Bronze badging, model-exclusive 22-inch BMW Individual M Aerodynamic Style 1023 wheels, and blue brake callipers. As for the exterior shade, buyers can choose from nine different options, including Mineral White, Alpine White Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Sophisto Grey Metallic with Brilliant Effect, Phytonic Blue Metallic, Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic, Individual Storm Bay Metallic, and Aventurine Red Metallic.
