2023 Bentley Continental GT Speed arrives in Malaysia, check full details

Bentley has once again taken the local automotive world by storm with the launch of the all-new Continental GT Speed. Globally revealed two years ago, the latest GT Speed is the most dynamic road car ever in the brand’s history. It is touted as the ultimate performance-focused interpretation of Bentley's definitive Grand Tourer. Let’s check out the full details of the all-new 2023 Bentley Continental GT Speed, starting with the price.

Bentley Kuala Lumpur retails the new Continental GT Speed at a whooping price of RM 1,135,000 (before taxes, duties, registration, customised options).

Under the skin of the new Continental GT Speed lies a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine that churns out a maximum power of 659 PS at 5000 - 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 900 Nm at 1500-5000 rpm. The transmission duties are taken care of by an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission paired with an all-wheel-drive system. 

In terms of performance, the new Bentley runs from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds (0.1 seconds quicker than the predecessor) and clocks a top speed of 335 kmph. Adding to the performance is an electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD) that proactively adjusts the amount of torque distributed to each rear wheel, allowing the driver to accelerate out of corners with more confidence.

The ultimate sports-focused grand tourer comes with a choice of driving modes - Comfort and Sports. The former offers relaxed cruising while the Sports mode enhances the engine, transmission, and suspension for an improved dynamic driving experience. Additionally, the exhaust is also adjusted to produce a more exciting sound.

Also part of the kit is a 48-volt electronic anti-roll system that manages body roll by adapting to the driving conditions. It also ensures stability during high-speed cornering and reduces bumps and vibrations when cruising in a more relaxed manner.

On the exterior, the new Bentley GT boasts a large rectangular-shaped grille surrounded by dual circular LED headlamps. The car’s athletic and muscular look is emphasised by strong crease lines on the front and rear fenders. Further enhancing the styling quotient of the new Bentley are dark-tinted bumper grilles, more sculpted sports sills, and chrome-finished Speed badging on the front fenders.

The grand tourer rides on 22-inch alloy wheels as standard with bright silver, dark tint, or gloss black finish available as optional.

The interior of the latest Bentley is designed to provide a luxurious and comfortable driving experience that surpasses expectations, which is a testament to the brand's unwavering commitment to luxury and comfort. It features fine materials, including leather and Alcantara upholstery, diamond-in-diamond quilting, wood veneers, and polished metals, exuding opulence and refinement. Marking the unique identity of the car are Speed emblems positioned on the dashboard and headrests

The infotainment unit houses a 12.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen display, which enables access to a host of features like music, navigation, and climate control. Also part of the kit is a fully-digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, 14-way powered front seats, two-zone climate control, a premium sound system, and more.

Also available as an option is the Bentley Rotating Display, which is a stunning fusion of technology and craftsmanship. It enables the effortless switching between the central touchscreen and a veneered panel featuring three classic analogue gauges with a simple touch of a button.

The new Continental GT Speed is not just about luxury and performance; it also prioritises safety. It comes fitted with a slew of advanced safety gears making urban driving easier and safer.
