2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class arriving on 25th Feb

KUALA LUMPUR: The car Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has been teasing for a while is finally arriving next week. We are talking about the brand’s best-selling sedan globally, the C-class.

Known as the “baby S-Class”, the 2022 C-Class aims to excite customers here in Malaysia and around the world with its wide range of features, most of which are derived from the Mercedes-Benz flagship car, the S-Class.

The C-Class is the most successful model range and in its new version the company claims it will once again raise the bar as the most sophisticated offering in the segment.

2022 Mercedes-Benz launch details -

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia will be launching the new C-Class sedan on the 25th of February, 2022, at the Mercedes-Benz Universe, next to Plaza Arkadia, Dezsa.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, the automaker is taking several important COVID-19 preventive measures. For instance, the guests will be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival, and show a digital vaccination certificate.

What do we know about the upcoming C-Class sedan?

Mercedes- Benz Malaysia will offer the new C-Class in two variants - the C200 and the C300. The former will feature Adventure and the latter an AMG Line specification.

As for the power configuration, the C200 is expected to get a 204 PS/300 Nm 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo mill. The C300, on the other hand, might get a 258 PS/400 Nm 3.0-litre four-cylinder unit with ISG. A 9-speed automatic transmission unit is expected to remain common across the range.

On the feature side, the upcoming C-Class will surely benefit from several advanced bits which might include - a massive portrait-oriented touchscreen unit, ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice assistant, Burmester sound system, a 10.25-inch instrument panel, and more.

Well, these are just expectations, we’ll get to know the actual picture on the 25th February 2022.
