As mentioned above, the Malaysia-spec Lexus LM variants come powered by different hybrid engine setups. The LM350h is equipped with a combination of a 190 PS 2.5-litre Dynamic Force naturally-aspirated gasoline VVT-iE mill and an 182 PS/270 Nm twin electric motor setup. The combined output of the system is rated at 250 PS and 239 Nm, transferred to the front wheels via an e-CVT gearbox. Seating
The new Lexus LM comes in two seating configurations in Malaysia. The LM350h is kitted with seven seats in a 2-2-3 layout, offering enough space for a larger family or group. It incorporates electrically adjustable captain seats in the second row and three seats at the back. There is a 14-inch ceiling-mounted rear monitor available for the rear passengers.
On the contrary, the LM500h offers seating space for four passengers with seats configured in a 2-2 layout. The business class-style seats in the second row mimic the ones found in private jets, first-class commercial airline cabins, and cruiser boats. They are ergonomically optimised and incorporate an anti-vibration frame and bowed armrests for optimal comfort. These are “among the most advanced and comfortable ever crafted by Lexus.”
The seats can be fully reclined and include an ottoman, along with heating, ventilation, and massage features. Occupants can control these functions with removable tablet devices similar to smartphones. A bigger 48-inch widescreen display is mounted on a partition between the front and rear cabins.
