Yamaha R15M

Mimicking the R1 and R7 bodywork styles, the Yamaha R15M has a sporty, racing style. It comes with two color variants featuring the latest R-DNA generation of external design. The model logo is featured with bright paintwork to drive maximum attention. The LED headlamp positioning is one of the most prominent changes in the bike's styling and exterior designing.

Unlike its predecessors, it features the headlamp fixated right at the center, with its housing located on the central duct for intake. Additionally, the indicator lights extending from either side have been made sleeker. Including the brand-new TFT instrument cluster is a significant change to the model. It displays all details to the rider, along with allowing Bluetooth connectivity.

The carbon-style seat with an approximate height of 815 mm is ideal for letting riders enjoy driving this two-wheeler in different road conditions. 

At the front part, the R15M model comes with a brand new USD-type telescopic fork suspension. It is covered with gold paint to contrast with the rest of the bodywork paint. Furthermore, regardless of the surface contour, the front suspension smooths every ride. 

There is a triple clamp technology towards the upper side to help riders exercise more control of the bike's movement and drive safely. On the contrary, the rear suspension system is of the Link Monoshock type. Here, the suspension is connected with the mainframe through a link to ensure the rise can be more than a regular Monoshock suspension. 

The R15M from Yamaha is more of a racer bike, so it needs to have advanced mechanics. So, it is equipped with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, Single Overhead Cam, 4-valve, VVA engine. Although it features a single cylinder, its 155cc displacement capacity is impressive. Perhaps that’s why the two-wheeler achieves higher acceleration easily. 

Furthermore, R15M can generate a maximum torque of 14.7 Nm and an output power of 14.2 kW. It also features a TCI system to ensure the ignition cycle can be kickstarted without the battery. Besides, with VVA technology added to the engine, there is a significant enhancement in its overall performance. 

This two-wheeler features a 6-speed manual transmission system that relays the engine power to the wheels and tires for movement. It comes with new golden brake clutches sporting wet and multiplate construction. Several notches upgrade the bike's performance due to the high-quality engine technology and transmission type.

Yamaha has paid special attention to the brakes and on-road safety of the R15M. Both front and rear ends feature disc brakes to provide better stopping power to the rider. In other words, a rider can stop the bike at the right time without traveling further. In addition, these brakes also allow the usage of wider tires at either end. 

So, supporting the overall weight of the chassis and the riders won’t be a problem for the two-wheeler. The triple clamp allows easy maneuvering and control of the brakes, which is one of the many reasons for trusting R15M at higher speeds and security.

The new Yamaha R15M is one of the best bikes, especially for those inclined toward car racing. Riding the two-wheeler is certainly an added fun factor with an upgraded bodywork, the addition of a powerful engine, 155 cc displacement capacity, and such high power and torque output. To enhance the overall security factor of the bike, the manufacturer has added ABS to the front. The anti-braking system ensures the brakes won’t get engaged when high speed is attained.
