Triumph Bonneville T120

The design and styling of the Bonneville T120 is what makes it a popular and exceptional package in the segment. Coming to the engine of the Bonneville T120, it gets a powerful liquid-cooled, 8-valve, SOHC, 270° crank angle, parallel-twin 1200 cc engine that makes 80 PS of power at 6550 rpm and an impressive 105 Nm 9f torque at 3500 rpm. That makes for some exciting low-end torque and powerful performance especially when climbing slopes or grazing over difficult terrains. 

To further enhance the engine’s performance, Triumph pairs it with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox along with a wet, multi-plate torque assist clutch. The engine also gets a multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection and chain drive system. This entire combination also makes for decent fuel consumption figures rated at  (4.7 l/100km). 

Braking units on the Bonneville T120 consists of twin 310mm discs with Brembo 2-piston floating caliper at the front and a single 255mm disc with Nissin 2-piston floating caliper at the rear end. All editions of the motorcycle get the same setup with dual-channel ABS. That makes for commendable braking and a safe ride along with a 100/90-18 tyre at the front and a 150/70 R17 tyre at the rear end, enhancing the stability of the ride.
