Excessive overheating issue
After riding the BMW S 1000 R for a week in rush traffic hours I can say it is not an ideal commuter bike. Even though it is a superbike meant to be ridden on open roads and highways I mainly used it for city commute and was unimpressed by its performance. One of the biggest drawbacks of this bike is that I experience excessive heat in the frame which makes the riding experience horrible. Especially in the summer, it becomes a pain to ride this bike as the overheating issue becomes worse. This bike is also not meant to be ridden slowly. It’s really, fast. and reaches a three-digit figure within a few seconds.
