The engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Coming to the fuel efficiency of the engine, the 3.0L HSE gives out a combined mileage of 13 km per liter.

Coming to the braking system, the Land Rover Discovery uses rotor-resurfacing brake pads to initiate a smooth and reliable braking experience at triple-digit speeds.

Coming to its safety features, Discovery is laden with standard automatic emergency braking with forward-collision warnings and active lane control. It also gets blind-spot monitors, knee airbags, side airbags, front airbags, and stability control among other standard and optional pieces of equipment.
