Disappointed by its driver-assist features

At the launch event, I got a chance to drive the Chery Omoda 5 and was a bit disappointed by its driver-assist features. At first glance, it impressed me with its modern, slick cabin, featuring ambient lighting, a dual-screen array, and an attractive steering wheel. What I did not like was that the lane-keep assistant behaved unpredictably and the driver attention monitoring seemed to be overly sensitive. These problems overshadowed some of the strong points of this car, like its responsive powertrain and unique design. If these systems were tuned in a better way, the Omoda 5 would definitely stand out as a great choice in its segment.
