The X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence comes equipped with a 3.0L petrol turbocharged inline six-cylinder 24 valve DOHC mill, which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 340 hp and a peak torque of 450 Nm from 1,500 to 5,200 rpm. The power is sent to all the wheels via BMW’s rear-biased xDrive all-wheel-drive system. Moreover, the transmission duty is performed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox, and it also gets paddle shifters as well

. The configuration is powerful enough to help the car in hitting a top speed of 245 km/h. Also, it can reach 100 km/h from stationary in just 6.1 seconds. The fuel tank capacity offered in this vehicle is 83 L, which is good enough for short trips. Safety-wise, the carmaker has not compromised at all and has offered all the standard safety features that one would require. Engine Immobilizer, Anti-Theft Alarm, and Central Locking are offered as standard.
