Zontes Malaysia launches three new motorcycles locally

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, the year is about to come to an end and we are graced by new launches. This time it’s not one but three motorcycles coming from Zontes Malaysia.

Zontes Malaysia three new launches are -

• ZT155-G
• ZT155-U
• ZT155-U1

All three Zontes motorcycles are priced at RM 10,888, however, they showcase different designs and features, all committed to taking care of the riders.

In addition to price, the three new Zontes Malaysia motorcycles are powered by the same powerplant, i.e., a single-cylinder 155cc water-cooled mill making a maximum power of 18.8 hp at 9,250 rpm along with a peak torque of 16 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

Let’s now discuss the three Zontes motorcycles in detail, starting with the ZT155-G -

The new Zontes ZT155-G is a very attractive scrambler-type motorcycle that not only comes packed with modern features but also a huge 20-litre fuel tank. On a full tank, the company claims the bike to cover a distance of 1000 km. Thus making it a good choice for the day-to-day commute.

Zontes ZT155-U

The Zontes ZT155-U is a naked motorcycle with attractive neo-retro looks. Similar to its bigger sibling, this one features a radical design language.

Though it misses out on the massive 20-litre fuel tank found on the ZT155-G, its 12.5-litre tank is still big compared to other bikes in the 155cc segment.

Zontes ZT155-U1

Part of Zontes Malaysia’s recent launch kit is also a fun mini-motard motorcycle, the ZT155-U1.

While the ZT155-U1 shares the same steel cradle frame and body panels as the ZT155-U, the former benefits from additional features making it a motard. Speaking of which, it features a long beak at the front and the wheels come wrapped in knobby tyres that enhance the bike’s off-road capabilities. Like its sibling the ZT155-U, it features a 12.5-litre fuel tank.

The Zontes ZT155-U1 is offered in three colour options - Red, Yellow, and Orange.
