The Ducati model to experience the highest hike in price (from RM 146,900 to RM 155,900) is the Multistrada V4S that earlier this year was made available in a striking Iceberg White hue along with some suspension and software upgrades.
Next up, the Ducati Scrambler range also experienced quite a shift in the pricing game. While the Desert Sled model now costs RM 7000 more than before, the Icon, Nightshift, and Icon Dark have got RM 5000, RM 5000, and RM 1000 dearer.
Similarly, the Supersport, Monster, and Hypermotard range has undergone a price revision. However, a select few Ducati motorcycles have experienced any price change. For example, the Panigale V4 SP (RM 279,900), Multistrada V4 (RM 135,900), and Streetfighter V4 SP (RM 239,900).
Reason for the sudden price hike -
Not just in Malaysia, but Ducati motorcycles prices have gone up globally in the past few months. The reason is an increase in material, logistics and production costs along with a hike in expenses related to other natural substances.
On a similar note, we'd like to point out the global ABS sensor storage due to stock issues related to certain alloys and metals. Likely to cause delivery delays for certain mid-to-high-end motorcycle brands.
