New Yamaha 135LC officially up for grabs at RM 6,888

KUALA LUMPUR: Yamaha Malaysia distributor, Hong Leong Yamaha Motors has officially announced that the 2019 135LC is now up for sale. The bike would retail for RM 6,868 (excluding registration, insurance, and tax). Compared to the previous-gen model, the price tag sees a reduction of RM 299, with the new 135LC tuned with a few upgrades.

What all is new in 2019 Yamaha 135LC?

Well, to be frank, not much with all the upgrades limited to the design front. Included here are - a revised instrument panel, front cowl horn cover, new engine protection cover, and side panel air scoops.

The Yamaha 135LC continuous to be powered by a 134cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine that churns out a maximum power of 12 hp at 8,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 11.79 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a four-speed gearbox.

The braking duty is taken care of by single hydraulic disc at the front and drum brake at the rear wheel. Front telescopic fork and rear monoshock are assigned the suspension task.

The Yamaha 135LC rides on 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in 70/90 tyres at the front and 80/90 units at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is 4-litre, bikes dry weight 105 kg, and the seat height is 775 mm.

The all-new Yamaha 135LC is available in three color options - Comet Grey, Fiery Red, and Storm Blue. Deliveries are expected to begin by June end, and with every purchase, the buyer will get a free stainless steel Yamaha Disc Lock.
