Malaysia gets Vespa Primavera 50th Anniversary Edition

However, the Primavera has hit the Golden Jubilee without breaking a sweat. The iconic scooter from the Italian auto-expert has defied all the odds and has stood strong till date.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Primavera, Piaggio-owned Vespa has introduced the Primavera 50th Anniversary Edition. The limited edition scooter has been launched in different markets worldwide one after the other. Finally, the Malaysian masses can have their fair share too. But wait, the scooter actually is not for the masses. With only 52 units for the Malaysian market, you better rush to bring one home.

The limited edition Vespa Primavera comes finished in either a light blue or a brown paint scheme. The beauty of the scooter is further enhanced by the white leather seat and the 12-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels which have been finished in gray.

The scooter gets all the regular amenities like LED headlights for illumination, ABS brakes for better braking capabilities, and a USB port in the glove compartment to charge your smartphone on the go. Powering the 50th anniversary Primavera is an i-Get 150 cc four-stroke mill, just like the regular Primavera.

Excluding all the road taxes and the accessories offered by Vespa, the Primavera 50th Anniversary Edition has been priced at RM 16,300. The price asked here for the thing of uniquity is RM 700 more than of the regular Primavera which sells at RM 15,600. But the additional RM 700 bring along that extra flair too, don’t they?
