Malaysia gets two new Zontes 349-cc scooters, price begins at RM 23k

KUALA LUMPUR: Ahead of the highly-anticipated Kuala Lumpur Bike Show 2023, two new exciting maxi scooters have landed on Malaysian shores viz. Zontes 350D and Zontes 350E. Officially imported by Zontes Distribution in the local market, the new scooters are priced as follows -

At the core of the new Zontes scooters lie the same 349 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled EFI engine that kicks out a maximum power of 36 hp and a peak torque of 38 Nm. The power is sent to the rear wheel via the CVT gearbox and belt drive system. The fuel efficiency is rated at 3.5 litres per 100 km.

The new maxi scooters come equipped with state-of-the-art features offering top-of-the-line performance. The list of common bits includes -

In terms of dimensions, the Zontes 350E is bigger, wider, taller as well as heavier than the Zontes 350D. The wheelbase, seat height, ground clearance, and fuel tank capacity of the touring scooter are also more than the urban scooter.
