Malaysia gets two new Harley Davidson bikes - CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide
KUALA LUMPUR: During the recently held Art of Speed event at MAEPS (Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang), Harley Davidson previewed two new models - Street Glide and Road Glide. The new H-D bikes hail from the brand’s Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) series and are among the most premium, expensive, and largest Harley-Davidson bikes.

Both new H-D bikes are powered by a new Milwaukee-Eight Variable Valve Timing 121 engine. The 121 badge means 121 cubic inches or 1983-cc displacement. It is capable of generating 115.3 bhp of maximum power at 4,500 rpm and 189 Nm of peak torque at 3,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed transmission system.
The said engine carries a new cooling system, liquid-cooled cylinder heads, an upgraded intake tract, and a high-performance exhaust system.
The suspension duties are handled by inverted forks at the front and mono-shock absorbers at the rear. As for the braking, the bikes utilise 320 mm dual floating discs at the front with 4-piston callipers and 300 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. The bikes run on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels wrapped with Dunlop H-D Series bias blackwall tyres.
