Malaysia gets 39 units limited 2021 Vespa Primavera Pic Nic 150 scooter

KUALA LUMPUR: Vespa Malaysia lineup is not very extensive, however, each available vehicle carries its own uniqueness and individuality. Further adding to the brand’s uniqueness is the all-new 2021 Vespa Primavera Pic Nic 150 scooter. What makes it distinctive? Well, of course, there is the Vespa-style retro element but the highlight is its 39 unit limitation. Interested? Here are some basics you need to know, starting with the price.

The 2021 Vespa Primavera Pic Nic 150 is priced at RM 19,990 (excluding registration, road tax, and insurance). Included in this price tag are 12-inch wheels finished in chrome and painted in white, brown seat & footstep, front beige straps, and rear cargo rack. The latter two indicate its usage - it’s a picnic-perfect companion, and it’s from here it gets its name from the Primavera Pic Nic 150.

The Primavera Pic Nic 150 is different from the regular Primavera 150 in several aspects. For instance, it gets Italian tricolour on the passenger seat grab handles, and an edition nameplate plate inside the front cowl. On the picnic accessories side, it gets a front rack picnic basket and a wicker picnic basket for the rear.

What powers the Vespa Primavera Pic Nic 150?

The Pic Nic 150 sources its power from the same tried and tested 154.8-cc Vespa I-Get powerplant found in the regular Primavera 150. The engine churns out a maximum power of 12.7 hp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 128 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Similarly, all the specs remain identical like all-metal chassis, an 8-litre fuel tank, 790 mm seat height, and single disc brakes & monoshocks at the front and rear.

Vespa Malaysia is offering the 39 units limited Primavera Pic Nic 150 scooter in three paint options - Green Relax, Grey Materia, and White Innocenza.
