The new Honda RS-X Repsol is priced at RM 9,948, making it RM 1,260 costlier than the regular model. So, what all do we get for this extra amount? Let’s find out.
Design
The special edition RS-X features the iconic, every-so-powerful Repsol livery over the CUB’s aerodynamically designed full cowl appearance, aggressive front fascia, dual LED headlights, and sleek taillight.
In short, the already superb-looking RS-X has now become even more irresistible.
Engine
No mechanical changes are done. The special edition RS-X is powered by the tried and tested 150 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC, EURO4 compliant engine. The unit generates a maximum power of 15.8hp at 9,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive.
Breaking and suspension
Like the regular model, the special edition version utilizes single-channel ABS with braking function taken care of by a single hydraulic disc at both ends.
A smooth ride, as usual, is assured by conventional telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
Features
It benefits from a fully-digital speedometer, LED headlight & taillight.
