With the colour upgrade does not come any change in the Rebel’s design and specifications. That means, the bike continues to get power from a 471-cc liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder PGM-FI engine that generates a maximum power of 45.59 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 43.3 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheel via a six-speed gearbox mated to an assist and slipper clutch system.

According to Honda, the Programmed Fuel Injection feature “helps provide outstanding power and driveability, with reduced emissions and better fuel efficiency, maximising its fuel consumption.”

In terms of design, the bike boasts a timeless ‘bobber’ look with a forward-looking styling. It comes fitted with all-LED lighting, including a striking round headlight featuring a compact lens and durable die-cast aluminium mount, which adds to visibility as well as rider confidence. The speedometer has a 100 mm dial with a clear LCD display white backlight, showing gear position and fuel consumption.

Another key highlight is the eye-catching fuel tank of the bike which has an 11.2-litre fuel capacity, perfect for both city rides and longer trips. Further adding to its style and practicality are the 16-inch wheels that come wrapped with 130/90 front and 150/80 rear tyres. The bike also features a low seat height of just 690 mm, which enhances its manageability, especially in lower gears.

The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and Showa shock absorbers at the rear. Handling the braking duties are single hydraulic discs on both ends complemented by an anti-lock braking system.

The 2024 Honda Rebel is priced at RM 33,899 (excluding road tax, insurance and registration). Included in the price is a two year or 20,000 manufacturing warranty, whichever comes first.  The new Rebel is now available at all authorised Honda BigWing dealers nationwide.
