Honda Rebel 1100 lineup to get a new variant soon

KUALA LUMPUR: The pretty famous Japanese publication, Young Machine, has once again dropped a piece of sensational news, this time it concerns Honda.

It was only a few days back when Young Machine revealed that Yamaha is busy working on a new fully-flared retro motorcycle, the XSR GP. Now, the publication tells us that Honda is preparing to add a new variant to its Rebel 1100 range.

Called the Honda Rebel 1100 Tour edition, the company’s upcoming offering would be introduced after the Hawk 11 launch in Japan.

In addition to the info, our beloved Young Machine also offers a rendered image of the latest Rebel.

The said image indicates a few major features, like - a Harley-Davidson Road Glide-like side profile, a large bat-wing front fascia, and saddle bags.

The standard Rebel 1100 showcases a 13.6-litre fuel tank which in the Road Glide extends to 22.7-litre. For the Rebel 1100 Tour edition to get such a hike would mean a major design revamp which we don’t see happening. This bit doesn’t make the Honda an apt bike for long cruises.

When will Honda introduce the new Rebel 110 variant? We don’t know for sure, however, with the EICMA just around the corner, Honda’s booth might have a new offering on display.
