Honda Malaysia introduces fresh colour tones for 2024 RS-X

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda Malaysia has kickstarted 2024 with a colour upgrade for the RS-X. The new and exciting colours for the popular Honda moped are - Mat Charcoal Gray Metallic (Gold), Candy Scintillate Red, Force Silver Metallic (Red), and Force Silver Metallic (Blue).

The 2024 Honda RS-X Mat Charcoal Gray Metallic (Gold) is now available at all authorised Honda dealerships nationwide, however, the other three tones will be available starting from January 18, 2024. The pricing is as follows -

Included in the mentioned prices is a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

The RS-X stands out with its high-end performance and sporty looks, drawing considerable attention on the roads. At its core lies the same tried and tested 150-cc EURO 4 compliant, DOHC engine delivering a maximum power of 15.8 hp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission unit and chain final drive.

For the 2024 model year, the under-bone style two-wheeler continues with the same set of features. It includes full LED lighting, a fully digital speedometer, a seat opener, and 17-inch wheels shod with 90/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres.

Handling the suspension duties are telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock on the rear. The braking setup comprises hydraulic disc brakes with the single-piston calliper on the front and rear, complemented by a single-channel anti-lock braking system.
