Ducati XDiavel gets more power and variants for 2021
KUALA LUMPUR: At the ongoing second edition of the Ducati World Premier 2021, the motorcycle manufacturer unveiled the updated XDiavel.
In its new version, the XDiavel is available in two trim options - Dark and Black Star. The Testastretta 1262cc DVT powerplant that powers the ongoing model has been revised by the brand to meet Euro5 regulations. In the updation process, the said mill has gained 8 PS of power, thus bringing the final output to 160 PS and 127 Nm of torque.
Also, part of the updated kit is a next exhaust unit that's been borrowed from the Diavel 1260.
As mentioned earlier, Ducati has introduced two new variants, one of which is the Dark trim that replaces the standard model. As the name suggests, everything on the motorcycle from front to rear is finished in matte black tone.
The XDiavel mid-spec S trim remains the same as before with no tweaks and is also available in black finish.
The range-topping XDiavel Black Star trim and like the other two, it is also offered in black finish. However, this one gets hints of red and grey too, differentiating it from the Dark and S models. Further, it gets forged alloy wheels and Brembo M50 callipers.
