Ducati Scrambler 1100 makes an appearance in Hollywood movie ‘Venom’

KUALA LUMPUR: When the trailer of the upcoming Hollywood movie from the Marvel Studios ‘Venom’ was launched, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 was seen making several appearances. Actor Tom Hardy is playing the character of Eddie Brock and he was seen riding the Ducati Scrambler 1100 several times in the trailer. However, only some shadows and delineations of the bike were seen, but few styling indications and some features allowed enthusiasts to put a name to the bike.

The bike could hit the markets soon. The scrambler family is now going to get the best and most awaited motorcycle. It is going to be a blessing for riders who have been striving for a more performance oriented motorbike in the scrambler ménage. There will be three variants of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 that includes the standard Scrambler 1100, Scrambler 1100 Special and the Scrambler 1100 Sport.

The engine of the brand new motorbike is same as of the Ducati Monster 1100. The bike is loaded with the 1,079cc, L-twin for easiness in fuelling which makes 86 hp at 7,500 rpm and the highest torque of 88 Nm at 4,750 rpm. The engine of the bike is connected to a six-speed transmission and the bike also deals with the electronics collection with all the three riding modes and five level gripping feature.

The bike will also receive an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) which assists in analyzing lean angles and operate the anti-lock braking system. The throttle activates the three riding modes- Active (with full power and direct throttle response), Touring (relaxed throttle response and full power) and City (with muted fueling and reduced power to 75hp).

The new bike is expected to be estimated between RM 65,187.65 to RM 71,113.80 . Scrambler lovers- keep your eyes and ears open.
