Ducati Malaysia launches 2022 Streetfighter V4 SP

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Ducati Malaysia announced its plan to launch six new motorcycles in the local market. One of which is the all-new 2022 Streetfighter V4 SP motorcycle, the brand’s most powerful naked and street-legal machine ever built.

Priced at RM 239,900, the 2022 Streetfighter V4 SP is powered by a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale engine that generates a maximum power of 208 hp and a peak torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm.

Here are a few other key details about the latest Ducati naked motorcycle in Malaysia -

Weight: Compared to the ongoing Streetfighter V4 S, the Streetfighter V4 SP weighs 3 kg less, i.e., 196 kg, thanks to its several carbon fibre elements. For instance, its carbon fibre wheels are lighter (by 1.4kg) than the forged aluminium ones fitted in the V4 S version.

Brake: Helping the motorcycle stop are Brembo Style R front brake callipers.

Suspension: Assuring a smooth ride all along is its Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 that offers adjustable
Damping capabilities according to the rider’s riding style.

Handling: Ducati has turned the new Streetfighter V4 SP with STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, improving anti-hopping in the most aggressive shift.

Drive experience-enhancing bits: The new Ducati comes with a lithium-ion battery, aluminium CNC machined footpegs and carbon front mudguards.
