BMW Motorrad launches 2021 R nineT range, check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: Good times for prospective motorcycle buyers and enthusiasts, as BMW Motorrad has once again added new models to the Malaysian lineup. This time the German manufacturer has come up with the all-new 2021 BMW R nineT range that includes three models -

• BMW R nineT
• BMW R nineT Pure
• BMW R nineT Scrambler

Before moving forward with the BMW R nineT model lineup details, let's first see the motorcycles that the brand launched recently. The list includes several bikes and scooters as well -

•  New BMW R 1250 GS (seven variants)
• 2021 BMW R 1250 GS Adventure (seven variants)
• 2021 BMW G 310 GS
• 2021 BMW G 310 R
• New BMW C 400 X

Coming back to the 2021 BMW R nineT range, BMW Motorrad Malaysia is offering it in a wide range of customization options with several accessories for buyers to choose from. Also, part of the deal is Option 719.

All the three R nineT motorcycles feature the new Headlight PRO setup that includes - a full-LED lighting setup with daytime-running lights with the latest LED technology.

What powers the 2021 BMW R nineT range?

BMW has employed a common mill under all the three R nineT models, i.e., a Euro5-compliant 1,170 cc air/oil-cooled boxer twin powertrain that generates a maximum power of 109 hp at 7,250 rpm along with a peak torque of 116 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Enabling better cooling performance and improved aesthetics are engine elements like the redesigned cylinder heads, new throttle valve parts, and cylinder head covers.

The BMW R nineT range features a circular analogue speedometer and a unique circular analogue speedometer. A USB charging socket is also now part of the kit.

Furthermore, the R nine T Pure and Scrambler come equipped with chrome-plated header pipes. The former also get a silencer design option.

• Selectable riding modes (Road & Rain)

The all-new 2021 BMW R nineT lineup price starts from RM 82,500 and goes all the way up to RM 96,500.
