Benelli Malaysia launches 2019 150S naked sports and 502C middleweight cruiser

KUALA LUMPUR: Benelli has launched 2019 150S naked sports and 502C middleweight cruiser in Malaysia along with 2019 SM Sport E110. The former has two different versions in the form of base and SP models. The bikes will be available for delivery in October.

2019 Benelli 150S naked sports come with an upside-down fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock unit having preload adjustment unit is present at the rear. It rides on 17-inch wheels. The 260 mm hydraulic discs do the braking duty at the front, while 240 mm hydraulic discs are present at the back. Both the brakes are clamped by two-piston callipers.

The bike is equipped with a 149.8 cc liquid-cooled triple-spark plug SOHC engine, which can make a maximum power of 13.14 hp coming at 9,000 rpm, while the peak torque is 12.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It is the six-speed gearbox that sends the power to the wheels via a chain final drive layout.

The base version of the naked sports bike is available in Lava Red and Space Black, while the SP model is available in Nitron Green color.

On the other hand, the Benelli 502C cruiser will now available alongside its stablemates, Benelli TRK 502 adventure, and Benelli Leoncino 502 retro scrambler. The new two-wheeler is equipped with a similar eight-valve, DOHC liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine mill that can provide a maximum power of 46.9 hp coming at 8,500 rpm, while the peak torque is at 46 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheel via a six-speed transmission.

The bike is available in three color options- Metallic Black, Metallic Red, and Matte Black. The 2019 Benelli 502C comes with a 41 mm diameter suspension upside-down forks having 125 mm of travel at the front along with rear preload-adjustable mono-shock unit with 60 mm of travel.

Coming to the pricing, the 2019 Benelli 150S base price is RM 8,588, while for the SP model, the cost increases to RM 8,888. On the other hand, 2019 Benelli 502C middleweight comes with a price tag of RM 31,588.
