Benelli is performing very well in Italy; check sales detail

KUALA LUMPUR: The year 2022 is proving out to be a good-one for the motorcycle brand, Benelli. The motorcycle manufacturer sold over 8,522 units in the first six month, thus making it the best selling two-wheeler brand in Italy.

Benelli Italia sales manager Gianni Monini on the achievement said, “Today, we are facing a historic result. An extraordinary milestone, achieved thanks to the incredible commitment, passion and determination of all those who are part of this company.”

As mentioned earlier, with over 8k units sold in the first six months of 2022, it marks a 6% hike in sales compared to the same period last year.

For those who aren’t aware, Benelli is owned by China-based QJ Motors, and is capable enough to compete with big-shots like Aprillia and Ducati. Thus, for it becoming Italy’s top motorcycle brand and gaining the trust of so many Italians seems like a historic moment.

Which Benelli motorcycle contributed most to the brand’s over 8k sales?

Out of over ten models in hand, the motorcycle that contributed the most to sales was the TRK 502 with 4,436 units sold in the first six months of 2022.
